Our research is guided by our collective desire and strong commitment to reduce inequalities in health and to improve health and social outcomes, particularly for the most disadvantaged groups in society.
In 2020, we generated over $32 million of research income and acquired 727 research grants. Here’s a snapshot of who we are:
- close to 500 academic staff
- more than 100 formal partners
- more than 540 higher degree research students.
Our research programs are supported by three institutes, two strategic research centres and five schools. Together, we tackle some of the most urgent and important clinical and public health problems of our time.
