Get work-ready

With a Deakin environmental engineering course, you'll get the chance to combine design-based learning with authentic engineering projects to prepare you for the world of work. You'll apply fundamental and technical knowledge to develop innovative solutions to real-world environmental problems, meaning you'll graduate with the knowledge and skills required to hit the ground running in this fast-growing sector.

Undergraduate

Undergraduate (your first degree)

An undergraduate degree is generally completed between two to four years, depending on the pattern of study and any recognition of prior learning you may have. Associate degrees, bachelor and bachelor with honours are all undergraduate degrees.

Research

Higher Degrees by Research (supervised research)

Research degrees are research based master’s or PhD programs that focus on a single area of expertise. They provide students the opportunity to carry out highly specialised research under expert supervision.

I've found the teaching and support staff at Deakin to be brilliant. They each have remarkable workplace expertise that help bring the academic material to life.
