Deakin Clinical Exercise Centre

At the Deakin Clinical Exercise Centre (DCEC) we aim to help improve health outcomes and quality of life for people living with chronic disease, injuries or disability. Our clients are treated by accredited exercise physiologists (AEPs) and masters students training to become AEPs.

Invaluable experience for Deakin students

DCEC was developed for students of our Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology course. Thanks to the centre located at Deakin's Burwood campus, students can apply their clinical knowledge to real clients.

Working alongside accredited exercise physiologists, students meet with clients, conduct assessments and create exercise and lifestyle programs.
