About the clinic

Warrnambool Rural Clinical School is a unique clinical school, offering small tutorial group sizes for more personalised teaching. It offers outstanding access to teaching staff, hospital wards and theatre, with a great camaraderie between staff and students.

Students have access to the regional hospital, giving them exposure to a wide variety of presentations, and the teaching staff provide an excellent grounding in all disciplines. A smaller number of students means a smaller student-to-patient ratio. Students also have access to local postgraduate training pathways to help them reach their career goals.

Warrnambool is a university town with affordable accommodation, lots of part-time work, many clubs and activities to join, and frequent train services to Melbourne CBD.
