About Inspo Fest:
Turn an idea into something real – in three weeks.
Deakin Founder Pathways’ Inspo Fest is a hands-on entrepreneurship program built for students who've never done this before. No startup background required. No business plan. Just you, a team, and a problem worth solving.
What’s included:
- Ideation workshops and AI tool sessions
- Mini hackathon with prizes
- Industry networking
- Final showcase where you pitch your idea
Weekly themes:
- Week 1 – Brainstorm & Team Up: Find real problems, generate ideas with AI, and join the mini hackathon.
- Week 2 – Let’s Get Building: Learn market analysis, build early prototypes, and connect with industry.
- Week 3 – Refine & Ignite: Develop a working prototype and pitch it at the final showcase.
A mix of online workshops and in-person sessions, including a final showcase event on Friday 4 September with an industry keynote speaker, team prototype presentations, networking and information about what steps you could take next on your entrepreneurial journey with Deakin Founder Pathways.
