Discover a world outside of uni! These organised group activities in Weeks 6 and 9 will take you to some of Victoria’s most wonderful attractions and give you a taste of Aussie culture. Everything is arranged for you, so can just enjoy the sights and sounds of your adopted home ... and make new friends along the way.

What's on in December

Cricket clinic and Big Bash game (Geelong)

Past events

Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens

Students enjoyed a guided garden tour of this beautiful urban oasis followed by a picnic, and leisurely exploration of the NGV.

Surfcoast tour

Day trip the Surf Coast through Torquay, Bells Beach and Anglesea. Discover where to surf, hike, ride and camp, and a visit to Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery on the way home.

Wurundjeri cultural walk

A guided tour around Abbotsford and surrounding area with a local Wurundjeri Educator. Students enjoyed learnings about Wurundjeri culture, history and conversation with lunch at Abbotsford Convent.

Water and beach safety

Our free water safety classes are designed to build confidence in the water, especially in Australia's surf. Practical skills included body boarding and rescue strategies. Lunch was provided.

Bellarine Peninsula tour

A short drive from Geelong to the charming seaside and bayside towns of Ocean Grove, Queenscliff and Portarlington. This half-day trip covered ferry ports, local fishing spots and beautiful places to swim!
