COVID-19 Financial Assistance
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic Deakin has developed a support scheme for students in need.
The safety and wellbeing of our community remains our top priority, and we are doing everything possible to support our students, during this difficult time.

Study Melbourne's International Student Relief Fund
Study Melbourne's International Student Relief Fund (State Government of Victoria) applications can be submitted via the International student button above. Deakin has combined our application process for international students seeking support from Deakin University and/or Study Melbourne. Applications submitted after 11.00am on 19 May 2020 will be considered for both schemes. You will need to provide evidence of your employment and your current hardship. Employment documentation includes a letter from your employer or two payslips (from March and now). Your documentation needs to have your name, your employer's name and contact details and your employer's ABN. If you are a contractor your documentation needs to include your ABN and income details eg. your ATO business activity statement.
