The Study Abroad Database is for students wanting to study for one or two Trimesters Abroad.


Planning a Trimester Abroad?

  1. Ensure that you:
    1. Attend a compulsory Information Session
    2. Review the list of Host Universities
    3. Check you meet all Eligibility Criteria and follow the steps provided in order to get your outgoing student plan approved

    Once you have completed the three steps above, you can book a meeting with a Faculty Student Advisor via the Exchange Application  form (link will be active in line with the next application cycle). During your appointment you will discuss a Trimester Abroad, your degree requirements and subject choices for overseas study. Currently these appointments can be held over phone.

    Applications for Trimester 2 2022 exchange are now closed. The next application cycle – for Trimester 1 2023 – will open mid-year. Student Central will start taking appointments in early May. If you have questions about this application cycle in the interim please contact the Deakin Abroad team.
