Your offer email will contain your Deakin student ID number and the information you need to accept your place and enrol.

The next steps

Domestic students

If you want to get ready to accept and enrol, here are a few things you can do.

• Ensure you have your Unique Student Identifier (USI).
• Ensure you have your Tax File Number (TFN) if you are eligible and can defer your fees to HECS-HELP.
• Have a look at your course entry in the Handbook to plan your course.

International students

Once you have accepted your place and made all the necessary arrangements, we will send you more details on how to enrol.

Prepare for uni

Once you receive your offer email, accept and enrol, visit our new students website to find advice and information that can help you get ready for Orientation and life at university.

Need to decline your offer?

If you need to, you can postpone starting your course at Deakin. This is called deferring.

If you have questions about your offer or you're unsure if you will accept, we're here to support you. You can speak with one of our student advisers who can help you decide. If you decide to decline your offer, reply to your offer email, and advise that you’d like to decline.
