Want to study a core, major sequence or elective unit abroad? Faculty study tours are an alternative way to undertake a unit in your degree intensively overseas. These programs are 2–3 weeks in duration and involve academic, industry and cultural activities at a partner university abroad. You’ll usually see these units with ‘tour’ in the title.

We are planning our Trimester 3 study tours for October/November 2026. In the meantime, please view the widespread unit offerings of the Deakin Abroad short-term partner programs.

Global Experiential Learning (GEL) includes a range of social impact and internship programs facilitated by external providers to the university. The Faculty of Business and Law has the following pre-approved providers:

• The Global Student – Malaysia
• International Internships – Indonesia

These programs are typically government funded through the New Colombo Plan (NCP) scheme and are available to both business and law students for credit.
