DUSA stands for Deakin University Student Association. It’s our student-led community helping you make the most of your university experience (especially meeting people!).

When you become a member of DUSA, not only will you get a sweet merchandise pack, loads of discounts and exclusive access to member giveaways and spaces, you'll also become part of a fun, dynamic and supportive group that puts students’ interests first and helps create a great university culture. You can also become a DUSA Crew Member and help coordinate and deliver their exciting programs.

DUSA coordinates a range of extra-curricular activities, including:

• student clubs, where you can meet people that share your interests
  
• social and competitive sporting teams
• short courses so you can level-up and learn new skills
  
• social events and trips.
  

They also provide Deakin students with a wide-range of important support services, including advocacy support, financial wellbeing coaching, legal support, the survival centre and safe spaces on campus. Most of these offerings are free for Deakin students.
