Your safety
Deakin provides emergency response, first aid, and confidential support for sexual harm or harassment when you are on-campus. You can read about our resources below as well as on our safety and security webpage and save them for when you need them. If life is in danger, call Triple Zero (000).
Online safety
Our lives are increasingly taking place in digital spaces, so it’s important to learn how to stay safe online.
Staying safe online means a few different things. You need to take care to protect your personal information by securing your devices and avoiding risky online behaviour, such as sharing personal information over unsecured networks. It's also important to educate yourself about what different scams can look like. Finally, if you become a target online, dealing with online abuse can be a challenging experience – we can help you respond to potential incidents.
