ADHD Peer Support Group

Supported by the Disability Resource Centre (DRC) and Counselling & Psychological Support (CAPS) teams, the ADHD Support Group is a 6-week group program guiding students through different topics related to the ADHD experience.

Every week, we cover topics related to managing your ADHD and studies (e.g., planning and organisation, task paralysis and perfectionism, emotional dysregulation, and lifestyle habits etc.), whilst also giving you the chance to share your own experience with ADHD and connect with other students experiencing similar things.

At the end of the program, you will have the opportunity to stay connected with the group to continue supporting one another in managing your studies with ADHD.

Email adhdgroup@deakin.edu.au for more information and to express interest.

ADHD Study Groups

Supported by the Disability Resource Centre (DRC) and the Counselling & Psychological Support (CAPS) teams, our ADHD Study Groups offer a low-pressure and supportive environment to body-double, connect and share study strategies with like-minded students. Group facilitators (staff and/or students) use Pomodoro timers (25 min focus, 5 min breaks) for 2-hour sessions with multiple group offerings both on campus and online.

All ways of participating are welcome – no formal diagnosis is necessary. Please sign up to our mailing list to keep up to date with Study Group details, or email adhdgroup@deakin.edu.au for more information.
