Master of Construction Management
T1 2026 Mentor

I’m Nanthitha, currently studying a Master of Construction Management. When I first started university, I understood how exciting but overwhelming it can feel stepping into a new environment and trying to figure everything out. That experience is what inspired me to become a peer mentor, because I wanted new students to feel supported, welcomed, and like they truly belong here, which is exactly what SEBE stands for.

One of the best parts of the program was meeting students from different backgrounds, sharing genuine conversations, and watching them grow more confident each week. I also loved spending time in the Community Hub, playing games, sharing laughs, and meeting amazing people along the way.

I’m passionate about construction, architecture, and making genuine connections along the way because great conversations can be just as exciting as great buildings, and outside of study I enjoy sketching and going for drives.

My advice for new students is to enjoy the journey, because everyone is figuring things out as they go, so have fun, make memories, and grow along the way. I was also once a mentee myself, and I’m still in touch with one of my mentors today, which shows how meaningful these connections can be.
