How to apply for a WIL placement
Applying for a WIL placement involves three steps: identifying your WIL unit, finding a placement opportunity with the organisation of your choice, and submitting an application to Deakin through InPlace.

How to apply
Please note: there has been an update to the SEBE WIL application process beginning from Trimester 2 2026. If you have already started an application or have completed the old forms (SEBE WIL Placement Agreement and Industry Placement Forms), please submit these documents on InPlace using the steps below and the SEBE WIL Team will guide you with the next steps.

About the online session
Online consultations are confidential. When you join the Zoom session you will be placed in waiting room. Then, when a WIL Advisor becomes available you will join them in a breakout room for a private one-on-one consult.
