Global Experiential Learning

Experiential learning at its best!
UPDATE from Deakin Abroad (21 January 2021): COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to cause uncertainty around the world, leading to the Australian Governments issuing a worldwide travel advisory of “Do not travel”. Due to the high level of uncertainty, the university has decided to suspend ALL face-to-face global mobility programs scheduled to commence in or prior to October 2021. The decision on when travel will recommence will be reviewed closer to October.
At this stage, we are unable to confirm your plans to study overseas in 2022. Applications for exchange in 2022 will not open until the Australian Government travel restrictions allow international travel. We appreciate that this is inconvenient and recognise that the COVID 19 situation is very fluid in several countries across the globe. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide a 2022 update as soon as possible.
In the meantime please check our virtual GEL options listed below.
