Short Term Partner Programs
Short term experiences with a long term impact
Deakin Abroad is pleased to confirm that a limited number of in-person short-term partner programs will run in June-July 2022. Please note that places are limited and are expected to fill quickly. Applications may be closed before the listed deadline if we reach capacity earlier.
Deakin will continue offering virtual global learning programs for students who are not yet ready to travel. If you are interested in a virtual program, please see below our short term partner program options.
Short Term Partner Programs are intensive global learning options to progress your degree during the June/July break and T3. These two- to six-week long programs are offered by Deakin’s partner universities or approved hosts.
You must have a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 unless otherwise stated. Some discretion may apply to this requirement; please email Deakin Abroad to discuss. Please note, if you are undertaking your final unit abroad, your attendance at a graduation ceremony may be delayed due to your host university releasing results at conflicting times. By proceeding with a Short Term Partner Program application, you acknowledge that you will need to attend the next available graduation ceremony.
- There are two types of short term partner programs:
- Exchange: You pay tuition fees to Deakin University as per normal but pay all associated program costs directly to your host institution.
- Study Abroad: You pay tuition fees and all associated program costs directly to your host institution.
Please refer to the specific program brochure to find out whether your program is Exchange or Study Abroad.
