To participate you must:

• have a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 unless otherwise stated. Some discretion may apply to this requirement.
• have 8 credit points completed at the time of departure for undergraduate students, and 4 credit points completed at the time of departure for postgraduate students.

Please ensure you meet any additional program-specific requirements outlined in the program brochure.

You'll also need to attend one of our compulsory pre-departure sessions a minimum of six weeks prior to leaving the country.

You will be required to pay a $55 non-refundable short-term application fee when you apply so, ensure you check your eligibility before applying. Your application will not be considered if this fee is not paid.

If you are undertaking your final unit abroad, your attendance at a graduation ceremony may be delayed due to your host university releasing results at conflicting times.

By proceeding with a short-term partner program application, you acknowledge that you will need to attend the next available graduation ceremony.

Remember to consider the following expenses that you will need to budget for when planning your experience.

Please note: any loans or funding may only be received after you are required to pay for your program. Payment deadlines must be met regardless of when you receive funding (pending eligibility).
