Short Term Partner Programs

Short term experiences with a long term impact

Undertaking a short term partner program at Deakin is a fantastic way to fast-track your degree by studying overseas while receiving Deakin credit points. You may be able to study Psychology in the Netherlands, Healthcare in Mexico, Law in the UK or Finance in China.

Short Term Partner Programs are courses offered by Deakin's Partner Universities or approved hosts. Each program has been carefully selected by Deakin Abroad to ensure they are of a high quality, while also being suitable to count towards your degree (dependent on faculty approval).

The programs run between two and six weeks in either the inter-trimester break (June/July) or during Trimester 3 (November-February). To apply, you must have a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 or above (some discretion may be applied to this requirement please email short-term-abroad@deakin.edu.au to discuss).

Travel Grants

Below you will find the list of June/July 2019 travel grants. Travel grants will be given to the students with the highest WAM and will be contacted by Deakin Abroad once everyone is committed and enrolled in the program.
