About

From getting to and from the airport, to arranging visas and accommodation, travelling can take a lot of planning, and it’s important to plan to stay well while you’re away too. So, before you head off on your next adventure, consider making an appointment with Deakin Medical Centres to make sure you stay healthy and well throughout your trip.

What to do

Deakin Medical Centres provide comprehensive pre and post-travel health services including:

  • pre departure travel health advice including a travel brief for the countries you are travelling to and current travel health updates;
  • travel vaccinations;
  • travel health vaccination record book;
  • medication review;
  • safe behaviours advice; and
  • resources and a travel health information.

Travel vaccinations are available all year through Deakin Medical Centres. These are cost effective for students and staff seeking vaccination prior to departure. We advise you book a travel consultation at least 8 weeks prior to departure to ensure you complete your vaccination course.
