Men's Health Week
International Men’s Health Week, recognised annually each June, is a health awareness campaign to support the health and wellbeing of men and boys around the world. In Australia, the official promotion and coordination of national Men’s Health Week is overseen by the Centre for Male Health at Western Sydney University.
This year, Men's Health Week Australia runs from Monday 15 to Sunday 21 June 2026. The theme for 2026 is "See your GP", highlighting the importance of seeking support when something doesn't feel quite right with your physical, mental or emotional wellbeing. The campaign also encourages men to take regular exercise, participate in health checks and screening, seek help when they're feeling low, and support mates who may be struggling.
Research shows that two in three Australian men wait too long before seeking help when something doesn't feel right. Men’s Health Week 2026 aims to make taking that first step feel easier by reminding men that booking an appointment doesn't have to be a big deal.
The official Men’s Health Week website has also been expanded this year with practical tools and resources, including 101 reasons to see your GP, a health service finder, real stories from men, an interactive health check quiz, and health articles tailored specifically for men. It's a great opportunity to prioritise your own wellbeing and encourage the men and boys in your life to do the same.
