Escape. Hide. Tell.
This information is here so you are prepared, not because we expect something to happen. Knowing your options can help you stay calm and make decisions that feel right for you.

ESCAPE
- If something feels dangerous and it is safe to do so, move away from the area.
- Take others with you if you can.
- Trust your instincts and prioritise your safety.

HIDE
- If you cannot leave, find somewhere out of sight where you feel safer.
- Lock or block doors if possible.
- Make your phone silent and stay where you are until it feels safe to move.

TELL
- When it is safe, call 000 or Security 1800 062 579
- If the situation is not urgent but feels concerning, you can report it and ask for advice. You do not need to be certain or have all the details.
- Local contact block to embed at the end of the steps
- If you need support before, during or after an incident, help is available.
Remember:
- You are not expected to handle unsafe situations alone.
- Different situations need different responses.
- This guidance is about choice, care and preparedness.
