Join us for a very special Art Club to celebrate NAIDOC Week with facilitator Kiri Tawhai for an art, wellbeing and Cultural Knowledge sharing workshop.

Kiri Tawhai is a proud Noongar, Ngapuhi and NgatiTuwharetoa woman who grew up on Jaburara Country amongst the red dirt and the spinifex and the beautiful islands of the Dampier Archipelago. In this workshop, residents will be lead through a meditation that teaches Country with a Capitol C, then walked through a painting experience that dives into Country, identity and Songlines all while promoting a deeper connection to peers. A fun experience, no art experience required, art supplies and light snacks provided!

Please note this event is for students living on Deakin Res.

Residents can register via the Res Portal
