Explore the work by Indigenous Australian and Torres Strait Islander artists that are housed in the Deakin University Art Collection by visiting the Deakin University Art Collection Online.

The Deakin University Art Collection has been developed over the last 50 years since the University’s inception in 1974. The works featured in our collection share histories, culture and includes works by contemporary artists, emerging and more established artists, as well as stunning examples of landscape painting, bark painting, Papunya Tula (dot painting), small sculpture and photography. Artists in the collection Include Marlene Gilson, Reko Rennie, Hayley Millar Baker, Lisa Waup, Kent Morris and Christian Thompson among many others.
