About the event

This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, Bridging Now to Next, urges us to look ahead and continue forward towards a more united and respectful nation. During the week of 27 May to 3 June, visit your campus library to make a commitment to reconciliation. You will have the opportunity to write, draw or decorate your commitment and display it together with others in the shape of a bridge. This community installation will represent the Deakin community’s ongoing commitment to reconciliation and the theme, Bridging Now to Next.

This activity will be available at:

  • Burwood Campus Library
  • Warrnambool Campus Library
  • Waterfront Campus Library
  • Waurn Ponds Campus Library
