Grads on the Green
Congratulations on finishing your studies at Deakin! To mark your achievements and to celebrate your success, we're delighted to announce our new Grads on the Green event.
Celebrate in style
Come join us at Grads on the Green for a special on-campus event. As part of the festivities you’ll be able to dress in your academic regalia, meet fellow graduates, check out our graduation market stalls, have photographs taken, and more. There will be no cost for you and your guests to attend this event, with complimentary food and a drink each provided on the day.
Grads on the Green will be held at the Warrnambool, Melbourne Burwood and Geelong Waurn Ponds campuses. You'll be allocated to the campus aligned with your study. Cloud students will be allocated to the event closest to their home address on Student Connect. Geelong Waterfront graduates can attend the Waurn Ponds day.
Grads on the Green is not a formal graduation as has traditionally been held for students at Deakin University (eg walk across stage to receive your testamur). As those invited to attend Grads on the Green have previously been graduated in absentia and received their testamur (certificate), these events are being held to provide an opportunity to celebrate this achievement with family and friends.
