Awards and recognition
The University has a range of student prizes awarded annually. With 61,000 students at Deakin, securing a prize is an accomplishment that you can definitely be proud of in your time at the University.
The majority of our awards are given for outstanding performance at an academic level and commitment to University life.

- Students who complete their course during Trimester 3, 2019 will be invited to apply in the 2019/20 round of student prizes and awards.
- Nominations are collated when final results become available at the end of each academic year (i.e. 2020 awards will be made on the basis of academic achievement in 2019).
- Prize recipients will be nominated and invited to submit an application by the University during November each year.
