Honours in Exercise Sport Science or Nutrition Sciences

The honours program in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences builds upon the foundation built during your three-year undergraduate degree.

Employers value honours graduates. You will have an advantage on your CV by completing an honours degree. It demonstrates a high level of achievement and proven capability to undertake independent investigation. An honours year will improve your skills in areas highly desired by employees – such as project and time management, written and oral communication and teamwork.

The School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences has outstanding teaching and research facilities, strong industry partnerships with sporting, government, community, health and food organisations, and our students receive authentic ‘hands-on’ experiences. An honours degree from Deakin provides a stepping-stone to a career in research and/or industry.
