Findings from the 2019 Graduate Outcome Survey – Longitudinal (GOS-L), the national survey of higher education graduates 3 years after graduation.
664 Deakin postgraduates from 2019 responded to the 2023 GOS-L which gave a 46% response rate.
Overall Employment
- 95% are employed full time
- 66% were working as a professional
- 21% were working as a manager
- 37% have changed occupation within the same business.
Graduates in Full Time Employment
- 3 years ago, 80% were working full time. Now, 95% are in full-time work
- 86% have been employed full time in their role for at least 12 months
- 42% found their new* job via internet ads (*previous 12 months).

All figures above the line are for domestic graduates who completed a bachelor degree.

- 81% of graduates would still study at Deakin
- 67% of graduates would still study the same qualification or study area.
